BAME Awards 2020

Earlier this month, the BAME Apprenticeship Awards in Partnership with Pearson 2020 took place, different to the usual Award shows we are all used to, but still a lovely virtual evening hosted by Tez Ilyas and Remel Remel.

AE Aerospace is proud to announce that we were shortlisted in 2 categories this year including: Engineering and Manufacturing Employer of the Year and SME of the Year.

At AE Aerospace, our objective is to make sure that we are open to all candidates, that everyone that visits us is comfortable in our environment, knows that they will be valued and be able to make positive contribution to the company’s future. We think we have been successful in achieving this throughout the 6 years our apprenticeship programme has been running and hope that we continue to grow in the coming years.

We would like to congratulate Thrive Law and BOMBARDIER on their wins, we hope to learn from them and all the other nominees. We will continue to improve and hope this lets others see the improvement a diverse work environment brings to all.
