Production Scheduler
AE Aerospace is a Birmingham based SME, at the forefront of Aerospace and Defence machining. Even with Covid-19 our order book has continued to expand, and we are now looking to add an extra layer of control and performance with a Production Scheduler.
Your job will be to help us plan machine loading and delivery of product across our 4 cells including a range of 3, 4 and 5 axis, Mazak CNC’s and additional finishing processes. You will liaise with our production planner who will keep you updated with the customers’ schedules, and with our logistics team to plan external processing and customer despatch.
Ideally you will have similar experience, and understand CNC machining and setup times, and be able to take this into account when creating the plan. Additionally, you will be able to make the plan visual to our teams, track its progress and adjust as required.

PETER BRUCH
Managing Director
Peter joined AE Aerospace in April 2013, leading its MBO, becoming Managing Director in January 2014.
AE Aerospace has grown sales 7-fold, tripled employment and relocated to a new facility over 4 times larger. There has been a £multimillion investment in Training, Facilities, and Equipment.
Peter is a Chartered, Graduate Mechanical Engineer, having completed an accelerated Apprenticeship. A resourceful, experienced Managing / Operations Director across the Automotive, Aerospace, Engineered Product & Marine sectors, successfully enjoying site P+L and global Sales & Engineering responsibility. Completed company turnarounds and site relocations, launched and grew a profitable new business. Revolutionised production efficiencies using Continuous Improvement programmes, building relationships between customers, suppliers, staff, group companies and the community.
Outside of AE Peter enjoys offshore sailing and Lego technic. (because he’s not allowed to take his motorbike apart in the kitchen).

BRIAN HAWKES
Project Engineering Manager
Brian joined AE Aerospace in March 2020 as Project Engineering Manager. Prior to his time at AE Aerospace he worked in Engineering roles at Aerospace and Automotive companies and recently transitioned into Project Management roles.
A career highlight of his was gaining Chartership in the Institute of Mechanical Engineers in 2007.

DAVE MARSH
Technical Consultant
So far, Dave has ‘enjoyed’ a 43-year career, starting as a Technical Apprentice in 1967 with Ewarts, part of the Duport Group in Dudley, West Midlands. He also completed his HND in Mechanical Engineering at this time. Dave held a number of ever more senior Technical Engineering and General Management roles at Vickers / Rolls Royce / Doncasters Shrewsbury, ending as Managing Director. After taking ‘early-retirement’ from Doncasters, Dave returned to Rolls as a Technical Consultant, working in the US before becoming Managing Director of Andover Precision in 2006.
When AE Aerospace purchased Andover Precision, Dave first became Technical Director and is now Technical Consultant to the combined company.
